Missions

Between You and I (B.U.I) is a youth-led nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization founded in 2018 and driven by one goal: to bring the joy and power of music to those in need. We are dedicated to creating music-sharing community service opportunities that uplift and enrich our world. Through partnerships with local institutions and the dedication of over 600+ volunteers, we aim to provide underserved communities with access to music education, instruments, and live performances. Our mission is to empower individuals through music while fostering creativity, emotional expression, and a sense of belonging. Together, we harmonize the world, one note at a time.

President's Message

Hello and Welcome to Between You and I

I am Angela Qu, the current acting president of Between You and I (BUI).

Working at BUI since 2024, has given me the profound experiences of a well knitted community. Whether it be working with little kids or our elders I have found a true fulfillment in serving others. Everyone has given me a chance to make a positive change in the lives around me and I am honored to act as president.

Never have I met more sincerity than at BUI, and I hope this year we can extend our helping hands further through our activities. The ultimate goal is to empower our kids as our future leaders and connect with each other to further our connection not only as an organization but as a family.
