2020 March Covid -19 Fundraising for Local Hospitals
March 19th, Our school, OCSA, was shut down due to Covid :(
March 20th, BUI board meeting. Consensus reached between all members to do fundraising for local hospitals and people in need.
After three rounds of fundraising, we raised $4810 in total, all donated to five local hospitals.

2020 April 3rd, Thinking about seniors during these tough times
BUI planned multiple rounds of fundraising and raised $670, which were donated along with surgical masks, hand sanitizers, disinfection spray and wipes, and some handmade greeting cards to two local senior centers
2020 April 16th, Start Keep Practicing Music & Language
During the challenging time, we started the program to motivate students continue practicing, keep learning, using music to lift their spirits.
2020 July, Start Clean & Safe for our community
We took care of our environment as we care for our health. During the pandemic, the fresh air and green outdoor space was more crucial to everyone. BUI members pickup trashes on the neighborhood streets and trails to give back to the place we all call home.
2020 November, Operation Christmas Child
Due to covid19 pandemic, processing centers were all closed, that didn't prevent us from collecting shoeboxes which got distributed all over the world.
2020 December, Creating Love-cards and presents for Seniors
Due to covid-19 pandemic, senior centers were not open to public during the holiday season, BUI team passed on love to seniors by delivering hand-made Love-cards and gift-wrapped presents.
